CLASS INFORMATION
- Class fee covers tuition or guidance and use of ’workshop tools’. Photos and consumable items such as adhesives, paper, pens, chalks, embellishments, etc must be provided by the participant or purchased at the class.
Self-serve tea and coffee is available.
- CLASS SIZES :- Minimum of 3 to a maximum of 12 participants. - Ready Set Go classes are limited to 10 participants.
- ALL CLASSES MUST BE BOOKED AND PRE-PAID.
- For the comfort of and in respect for other participants in the class or workshop – Please do not bring children to adult classes.
- My Scrappin’ Shop reserves the right to postpone or cancel any classes which do not have the minimum of 3 participants booked. In this case, we will make every effort to contact you – using the details provided by you – to re-schedule or offer a refund.
- IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL A CLASS :- You must notify us within 24 hrs to re-schedule or you will forfeit your money. This is to ensure that people on the waiting list have the opportunity to attend. Re-scheduled classes must be taken within the current or following month.
CREATIVE PASSPORT CLASSES 
The Creative Class Programme is a series of technique classes designed to teach you everything you need to know about creating your own scrapbooks. Leaving no stone unturned, when you complete this course you will feel confident in all areas of scrapbooking.
Our wonderful teacher, Nora has over 10 years experience in scrapbooking, jewellery making, and many other crafts. You are bound to have loads of fun as she personally guides you in all areas of creating beautiful albums with your own personal photographs.
You will be given a Creative Passpost at your first class. Bring it along to each class and Nora will stamp it, so you can keep track of what creative classes you have completed.
The Creative Class Program has been designed so you can choose what order you do the classes, fitting in with your busy lifestyle.
In each class you will complete a layout with Nora’s guidance so please bring along a set of photos and any tools you may have. A basic set of tools include adhesives, scissors, paper trimmer, pencil, eraser, ruler and a craft knife.
You can pay only $50 up front for the complete Creative Class Programme, saving you $10 or pay as you go with each class costing only $6. This includes tuition and guidance of the use of workshop tools. Consumable items such as adhesives, paper, pens, chalks, inks, embellishments etc have not been included so you have the opportunity to choose the items that not only match your photos but the items you would like to use.
When you have attended all 10 classes in the programme you will be invited to attend your next class FREE of charge.

Free Beginners Class | The Free Beginners Class is a free introductory class for getting started into scrapbooking.
Bring along 4-6 photos of the same subject and you will learn the basics to complete your first page. You will also learn how to protect and preserve you photos and your completed pages

Photoshop Basics 101 | The girls from Point, Shoot Play are coming to My Scrappin Shop on the Sunshine Coast to teach us Photo Editing on the computer. They offer a number of classes - beginners - Intermediate - Photo Rescue - Creative Play etc. This month we have scheduled .....
Photoshop Basics 101 (Beginners)introduces you to the Quick Fix and Full Edit sections of Photoshop Elements 5. These features will allow you to edit and enhance your photos with confidence. This class focuses on the tools used for colour correction, colour conversion and cropping.
Techniques and tools taught include:
Cropping and image resizing for more accurate printing
Simple colour corrections, such as how to lighten a photo and correct colour tones.
The various and best ways in which to create a black and white or sepia image
An introduction to layering
Lastly, how to create a black and white photo with a dash of colour.
If you are interested in doing these classes and prefer a different time-slot, please let us know.

Acrylic Mini Album | In this class you get to try you hand at creating a mini album using clear acrylic as the base. We used Doodlebug True Colours in our sample. This is an exciting new class - bite the bullet and give it a go - you might be pleasantly surprised with the result. |

WORKSHOPS
Workshops are specific projects designed for you to copy. They include a variety of page layouts, off the page projects, mini books and albums using some of the latest products and techniques. Every month these workshops change giving you an endless supply of inspiration and ideas.
Some workshops will have kits while others will offer the opportunity of choosing your own supplies. Workshop projects and pages are not available for copying at scrapathons.
Cost is $6 plus kit or supplies, unless otherwise stated.

Creative Cafe Workshop & Free Scrap Day | Have you experienced our Creative Cafe yet? Stop by and create a small project in a few minutes or make yourself a cuppa and stay and scrap for the afternoon. New Creative Cafe project kits are available every fortnight for around $6. They are lots of fun to make and only take a few minutes to make. Full instructions are included in the kit if you prefer to purchase one to take home. |
