CLASS INFORMATION
- Class fee covers tuition or guidance and use of ’workshop tools’. Photos and consumable items such as adhesives, paper, pens, chalks, embellishments, etc must be provided by the participant or purchased at the class.
Self-serve tea and coffee is available.
- CLASS SIZES :- Minimum of 3 to a maximum of 12 participants. - Ready Set Go classes are limited to 10 participants.
- ALL CLASSES MUST BE BOOKED AND PRE-PAID.
- For the comfort of and in respect for other participants in the class or workshop – Please do not bring children to adult classes.
- My Scrappin’ Shop reserves the right to postpone or cancel any classes which do not have the minimum of 3 participants booked. In this case, we will make every effort to contact you – using the details provided by you – to re-schedule or offer a refund.
- IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL A CLASS :- You must notify us within 24 hrs to re-schedule or you will forfeit your money. This is to ensure that people on the waiting list have the opportunity to attend. Re-scheduled classes must be taken within the current or following month.
CREATIVE PASSPORT CLASSES 
The Creative Passport Programme is a series of 7 classes designed to teach you everything you need to know about creating your own scrapbooks.
Leaving no stone unturned, when you complete this course you will feel confident in all areas of scrapbooking and be certified “creative”.
Our wonderful teacher, Nora has over 12 years experience in scrapbooking, jewellery making, design and many other crafts. You are bound to have loads of fun as she personally guides you in all areas of creating beautiful albums with your own treasured photographs.
Bring along your creative passport and Nora will stamp it, so you can keep track of what creative classes you have completed.

The Creative Class Programme has been designed so you can choose what order you do the classes, fitting in with your busy lifestyle. Class Fee is $8 (plus supplies). Consumable items such as adhesives, paper, pens, chalks, inks, embellishments etc have not been included in the class fee, so you have the opportunity to choose the items that not only match your photos but the items you would like to use.
You will be given a Creative Passpost at your first class. Bring it along to each class and Nora will stamp it, so you can keep track of what creative classes you have completed.

Creative Finishing Touches | In Creative Finishing Touches you will have heaps of fun adding those finishing touches to bring your pages to life. We will show you how to embellish your page using techniques such as sanding, distressing, crackle medium, glossy accents, stitching and the use of kindy glitz, glimmer mist, buttons, flowers and more.

Creative Paper, Rock, Scissors | Creative Paper, Rock Scissors is a new class that takes all the hard work out of deciding which papers and embellishments go best with your photos. Learn how to use a colour wheel to match papers to your photos.
It also covers tuition on the use of various cutting tools. Nora will show you several samples and you can do a different layout each class.

Free Beginners Class | The Free Beginners Class is a free introductory class for getting started into scrapbooking.
Bring along 4-6 photos of the same subject and you will learn the basics to complete your first page. You will also learn how to protect and preserve you photos and your completed pages

Point Shoot Play Classes are Computer Photo Editing Classes and Photography Classes conducted by the very talented girls from "Point Shoot Play". If you would like to learn how to edit your photos using Adobe Photoshop Software and how to get the best out of your camera, these classes are for you.

Photography for Beginners | Photography Basics Workshop

Bring your camera (and your camera manual) along to learn valuable photography tips. Covering photography basics, including technical terminology, lighting and camera settings, we will help you to take great photographs!
The class begins as an information session and ends with a hands-on, outdoor shoot session (weather permitting!). For the practical session, students are welcome to bring an object to photograph. For example: a stuffed toy, tea pot, jewellery box ? anything with which to practise indoor photograph

Photoshop Editing - Basics 101 | The girls from Point, Shoot Play are coming to My Scrappin Shop on the Sunshine Coast to teach us Photo Editing on the computer. They offer a number of classes - beginners - Intermediate - Photo Rescue - Creative Play etc. This month we have scheduled .....
Photoshop Basics 101 (Beginners)introduces you to the Quick Fix and Full Edit sections of Photoshop Elements 5. These features will allow you to edit and enhance your photos with confidence. This class focuses on the tools used for colour correction, colour conversion and cropping.
Techniques and tools taught include:
Cropping and image resizing for more accurate printing
Simple colour corrections, such as how to lighten a photo and correct colour tones.
The various and best ways in which to create a black and white or sepia image
An introduction to layering
Lastly, how to create a black and white photo with a dash of colour.
If you are interested in doing these classes and prefer a different time-slot, please let us know.

WORKSHOPS
Workshops are specific projects designed for you to copy. They include a variety of page layouts, off the page projects, cards, mini books and albums using some of the latest products and techniques. Every month these workshops change giving you an endless supply of inspiration and ideas. Some workshops will have kits while others will offer the opportunity of choosing you own supplies.
Workshop projects and pages are not available for copying at Scrapathons. You do not need to have completed the Creative Passport Course to do these workshops.
Cost is $8 plus kit or supplies, unless otherwise stated.
